Abstract
17,310. Tipper, L. C. July 29. Cages, pens, and the like.-A pigeon house, aviary, &c., which is convertible into a breeding- pen is provided at each end, Fig. 2, with a number (in tiers) of aviaries or nest-boxes comprising a nest portion or cage divided by a partition 11 and a run 8. Doors 12 giving access to the nest, and wire-netting doors 13, affording access to the run 8, open to the inside of the house, and doors 14 are accessible from the outside thereof. Alighting-hoards 19, 20 are provided for each nest-box, and the house may be divided by a removable partition 18 with a hinged portion forming a door and provided with perches 16. The front of the house is formed of wire-netting frames 6 fixed together, one or more frames forming doors, and boards 7 at the top and bottom extending the whole length of the house prevent the intrusion of cats, &c.
