Cranks; cam mechanism.-Relates to variablethrow cranks for cycles &c., of the kind having a part such as B, Fig. 1, carrying a pedal b and sliding radially upon a fixed part such as A. The part B on each of a pair of cranks carries a. roller b<2> engaging a separate cam-groove c on a separate cam-plate C. Rollers b <1> are arranged between the parts A, B to reduce friction, and in a modified form shown in Fig. 3 there are additional rollers b<5>. Each roller b<2> may consist of a core e, Fig. 5, of leather &c. secured between end-plates f.
