4829. Butler, R. J., and Beardmore &. Co., W. Feb. 27. Double-beat valves.-The two valve members A, B of a double-beat valve are elastically coupled together by means of a stem D fitted with one member C of a clutch adapted to engage a clutch member E on the valve member A. Springs F are interposed between the two clutch members which are secured by a cotter-pin G.
