Abstract

1959. Parnall, G. W. Jan. 26. Show cases.-In glass show cases, the meeting surfaces C', C<2>, C<3> of two or more of the glass plates A, B, C are joined together by shaping, grinding, and otherwise preparing the surfaces to make a close joint and applying transparent or other adhesive substance, thus dispensing with the usual angle-bars, rims, beads, &c. A band or line of gold leaf may be applied to one of the surfaces forming the joint. The adhesive substance may have the same or practically the same refractive index as the glass. Specifications 17,099/93 and 20,947/93, [both in Class 3, Advertising &c.], 3642/10 and 7264/10 are referred to.
