28,328. Kaselowsky, F. Dec. 6. Oars.-In a bow-facing oar, the transmissiongear 8 is located between parallel plates 9, 10 spaced by distance-pieces 17, 18. The plates &c. are threaded on the legs 13, 14 of a U-shaped yoke 11, the horizontal portion of which works in a bearing 19 having a tholepin 20. The bearing 19 is prevented from turning by extensions 23, 24 secured by clamps 21, 22.
