Abstract

27,508. Heath, C. Nov. 26. Push-button switches combined with temperature alarms. Projecting from the opposite walls of a capsule g, Figs. 3 and 4, are pins h, i. The pin h passes through a hole in the free end f of a spring plate e, and is adapted to make contact with a fixed contact-plate c. The pin i screws into the push b, so that the temperature of operation of the fire-alarm can be regulated. In a modification, the push b is permanently secured by solder to the outer wall of the capsule, and the pin h screws into the spring plate e, f, so that rotation of the push b effects the required regulation.
