Ferrules or tips. - A substitute for castors, to be applied to bedstead and like furniture legs, comprises a metallic mount fixed to the leg by means of an internal plate provided with lugs, together with a metallic dome or glide. The mount B has fixed within it a plate with three or more lugs h, which engage around the leg D and thereby secure the mount in position. The dome or glide A is pushed on the bottom of the leg D, and is further secured by turning the edge g of the mount B over the flange c of the dome.
