Protectors, securing.-A heel pad d, formed in the shape of an equilateral triangle having rounded corners, fits upon a heel a having a similarly-shaped tread face. A metal plate b fits into a corresponding recess in the pad. The pad is secured by a central screw passing through a hole in a metal plate g at the bottom of the recess. The pad is made of leather, rubber, or like material.
