Dec. 23, 1909 Casings.-Centrifugal-fan casings are made up of sheet-metal parts held together by strips p, k of wood or similar material to which the edges of the metal are screwed. Slots and tags as shown in Figs. 6 and 7 may also be employed to connect the parts. The fan may be supported on a stand made up of angle-irons, the woden strips p being attached to the uprights q.
