Tobacco cartridges.-A tobacco cartridge is provided with an outer covering a having two rows d of perforations and an inner case c which partly surrounds the tobacco, so that when the strip c is removed, the tobacco is still wholly enclosed. The inner case c may be made longer than the cartridge, and the ends folded over the tobacco b. The outer and inner cases may be made in the form of a blank, as shown in Fig. 5, extensions f being preferably provided to facilitate withdrawal of the casings when the cartridge is in the pipe bowl.
