Ashes and dust, collecting and removing.- In a bakers' or confectioners' oven in which a sprinkling- device is located at the mouth of the furnace for laying dust caused by stoking &c., a ' dish ' or scoop ' 10 directs the falling ashes towards the back of the ash-pit 12, which is well-shaped to prevent ashes from being heaped up against the ash-pit door.
