The central terminal d, the insulation, and the earthed terminal are removable from the plug body. The engine cylinder may be recessed to receive the terminals and insulation, the body being dispensed with. The central terminal is prolonged to form a drip point so that oil cannot remain on the sparking points, these being above the drip point.
