Building-motions.-In ring and other continuous spinning-frames, the quadrant chain is deflected during the formation of the cop bottom by means of a lever a, which is operated by a lever b attached to the quadrant, one bowl b<1> on the lever engaging with the lever a and another c<1> engaging with an adjustable incline.
