28,954. Anger, J. E. Dec. 10. Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies on. - Two methods of springing motor and other vehicles are described. In the first arrangement, the laminar springs A are attached to cranks G, which move in the direction indicated by the arrows about the pivots D, but which have their motion controlled by torsion springs K, Fig. 2. The torsion can be adjusted by the ratchet washers I, J. In the second arrangement, the springs U, T, S, Fig. 4, are in series, and the spring S is attached to the ends of plungers X hung from the axle Q with the interposition of the compression springs W.
