Vehicular and like lanterns. - Relates to motor-car and like lamps in which the rays passing laterally from the burner are reflected by mirrors in a forward direction, and consists in the use of condensing - lenses d placed as shown in Fig. 2. The mirrors e are preferably partly supported and protected by top and bottom plates f attached to the body a of the lamp; the front of the chamber thus formed is closed by a sliding glass door g. The mirrors e may be curved, and arranged so as not to project from the lamp body.
