24,740. Appleyard, W. Oct. 28. Metal-strip fastenings.-A long narrow strip of metal A is secured along the edge of a carpet, rug, or mat by prongs C or other suitable means. The strip is provided at two or more points with means for readily connecting or disconnecting it with the floor, such, for example, as slots B by which it may be engaged, by bending, under nail or screw heads on the floor. According to the Provisional Specification, the strip is secured to the floor and engages studs on the carpet.
