23,173. Welch, W. A. Nov. 2. Caps, readily foldable for travelling &c., are made of paper, calico, linen, &c. rendered sanitary by disinfectant and grease and water proof. The usual sectors a are united by gum or otherwise at a<1>, and are joined to a strengthening-piece b, which is preferably ventilated. A stiff peak c is provided, and the edges are preferably folded as shown at a<2>.
