[Addition to 21,754/08.] Screw propellers.-The single cone is replaced by a front cone and one or more truncated cones, adapted to be driven independently. The front cone can be driven while the truncated cone or cones remain stationary, or vice versa. The cones may also be driven in opposite directions, and at different speeds in the same direction. The helicoidal blades on the front cone and the truncated cones may be of the same or different pitch and of varying width.
