Abstract

Cutting and slicing vegetables &c.-A curved tool for cutting forage &c. is provided with means for removably fixing it to a stable wall &c. and for preventing it from cutting anything that may come into contact with it accidentally. The blade is secured by one or more hooks fitting into sockets and is furnished with a knot or ball at the projecting end. In the form shown in Fig. 1, a serrated blade a is provided with a ball e and with a flattened tang b fitting into a tapered socket comprising two plates c, d screwed to the wall.
