T i c k e t - p u n c h e s adapted to show the fare paid by the perforations, and to register the total amount received a n d the number of tickets punched, are provided with punches D, Figs. 2 and 5, arranged on the faces of a polygonal disk D<1> mounted on a shaft d bearing an exterior setting-disk E. The shaft is mounted in the sliding- piece B provided with a thumb-piece C and a full-stroke device and bell-hammer. The amount received is shown on a counter F actuated by a spring-depressed rack K, a pinion K<1>, and a ratchet F<1>, the amount of the movement of the rack being governed by the position of the disk D. The shaft d carries a cam G, which engages a roller h mounted on a slotted slide H moving in the slide B. A projection h<2> from the slide H carries an adjustable stop h<3> engaging a projection k of the rack K. The counter L showing the tickets issued is operated by a slide L<2> and a lever L<1> pivoted at l and connected to the slide B. In a modification, the punches D are carried by the frame, and perforations corresponding to the fare are formed in the disk D<1>, as shown in Fig. 6.
