4560. Bayliss, F. W. Feb. 24. Angle-pieces.-Bends, tees, joints, and other metallic pipe-conduit fittings are made from strip or sheet metal in halves b, d. Each half is provided with a flange-like projection and the two projections a, c are engaged and locked by closing one flange a over the second c as shown in Fig. 6. The metal is worked by pressing or similar processes. To limit the entry of the pipe lengths, indentations e are made in the couplings as shown.
