Abstract

4125. Marconi, G., and Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Co. Feb. 19. Wireless telegraphy.-In a method of obviating disturbances in a wireless receiving-system, due to atmospheric electricity or to electrical waves to which the receiver is not tuned, two rectifying-detectors V, V<1> are connected in two oscillation circuits coupled to the antenna, one of which circuits is in resonance with the waves to be received while the natural period of the other is slightly different. The detectors are so connected that when capacities and couplings are properly adjusted, the currents that they supply to the same receiving-instrument D, due to the disturbing influences, oppose and neutralize one another.
