Abstract
3085. Pennington, A. W. Feb. 8. Seals and sealing.-A match-holder A is provided with means for holding in an horizontal position a stick B of sealing-wax. This consists in the form shown of a channel-shaped crossportion 4 secured to the mount 3. The base 7 of the holder may bear an engraved seal 8, or a separate metal or other seal may be inlet into the base. In modifications, the wax-holding portion may comprise one or two short channelshaped parts secured to the mount 3, or the mount may be entirely dispensed with and a cross-groove formed in the upper part of the holder.
