Direct steam-pressure apparatus.-Apparatus for forcing the liquid to the nozzle of a spraying-device for disinfecting, treating plants, &c. comprises a tank 1 provided with a loosely-fitting sliding float 3. Steam is supplied through the pipe 6 which has connexion with the tank above and below the float through valves 7, 10. Liquid is supplied through a pipe 11 and valve 12 by filling the tank initially with steam and allowing this to condense. The liquid is forced out by the pressure of the steam through the strainer 16 and pipes 13, 15 to the nozzle. Steam may be forced through the pipe 9 and the valve 10 to agitate and heat the liquid.
