The wing hulls are capable of movement in vertical or horizontal planes relatively to the main hull. As shown in Fig. 4, the wing hull b is mounted to move in a vertical plane, while in Fig. 5, the hulls b are capable of a limited movement in an horizontal plane and may serve as rudders. The wing hulls may be cellular, the compartment b<2>, Fig. 6, containing a buoyant material such as cork, and the compartment b<1> being capable of containing water.
