Abstract

Delivery apparatus ; cylinder machines with plane printing- surfaces.-A delivery apparatus for a two-revolution cylinder machine comprises a set of tapes c which receive the sheets from switches b, the tapes c passing over rollers d, e. The roller e is mounted in levers m, which are raised and lowered by mechanism such as the rod o, angle-lever p, link r, lever s, roller u, and cam v. As the roller e is depressed, the sheet is carried by tapes h passing over rollers f, g on a carriage which is reciprocated along fixed guides so as to bring the sheet over a table k. As the frame retreats, the tapes h are moved forwards so as to cause the sheet to drop on to the table k. The roller d may also be raised and lowered if desired.
