Signals, indicator or visible.-A variable timetable more especially for use in educational institutions comprises a frame having a series of openings in vertical and horizontal rows for the introduction of removable and interchangeable blocks or tablets inscribed with the names of masters or coloured so as to indicate the instructor or other appropriate information according to a prearranged scheme. In the example illustrated, vertical columns indicate the classes, and horizontal rows the hours of instruction ; the masters teaching the various classes at those hours are indicated by the colour of the blocks 12, of which there is an index at 11. Letters A, G, N, &c. indicate the subjects taught.
