Sponge and like holders; soap receptacles tooth and nail brush holders. -A soap or like receptacle is perforated at the sides b, and gutstring, cord, or the like c is drawn across the receptacle so as to provide an elastic support for the inserted articles. The string may alternatively be fixed to a ring or frame inserted in the receptacle at a suitable distance from the bottom, and it may also be employed to separate the receptacle into divisions. For travelling, the lid may be similarly fitted, so as to prevent the soap from moving within the receptacle.
