Draught-inducers. -A blast nozzle q, fitted in the smokebox of a locomotive or like engine, is connected by a pipe or pipes p to one or more funnelsc, into which air is forced by the motion of the locomotive. The funnels can be turned to point in any direction, and can be fixed in position by a set-screw k. A regulating-valve g is provided. The blast nozzle is in the form of a ring.
