Loom shuttle boxes.-To facilitate the removal, adjustment, &c. of drop-boxes, the outer end f r a m e 1 of the drop-box is carried by a shaft 3, which is supported by brackets 5 cast to or forming part of the laysword 4 and which is secured thereto by a set-screw 4A. Brackets 10, cast to or forming part of the end frame 1, are secured to the shaft 3 by setscrews 4<B>, and the frame 1 and the inner end frame 1<A> have slots 6 to receive the outer edges or flanges 7 of the rising and falling cells 9. By using a longer or shorter shaft 3, boxes of different lengths may be employed.
