Abstract

8091. Haarmann, A., and Georgs- Marien - Bergwerks - und - H³tten- Verein. April 6. Chairs are easily inserted in holes in sleepers and kept to gauge without the danger of their being unintentionally lifted out, by a pin a having a prolongation furnished with a hook b which normally stands a little away from the sleeper, and by a known clamping-device u fastened by a bolt. v which is inserted and turned to engage the sleeper. The prolongation is narrower than the pin itself, and the hook may point in either direction and may have a square or curved upper surface ; in the latter case, the hole in the sleeper is suitably curved and the hook placed a little nearer the sleeper.
