Abstract
2760. Browne, A. J. Warne-. Feb. 4. Boxes for glass, pictures etc.; fittings, internal.-A box for sheets of glass, such as photographic plates, pictures, &c. is provided on opposite sides with two or more lengths b, Fig. 5, of elastic material, and the articles are packed between bars c threaded on to these lengths. Articles which are not in the form of plates or sheets are packed between partitions, the edges of which are supported by the bars c. The bars c may be separated from each other by vertical distance-pieces c<*>, Fig. 8, grooved at c<1*> to receive the elastic material; the bands may pass round circumferential grooves in the bars. According to the Provisional Specification, the corners of the box may be provided with racks, stops, or notches to receive the bars.
