In a seal fastening for a box or basket, the spring catch 10, which serves as the locking-means, is adapted to be released by a lever 13, which is pivoted in the casing and provided with a cam-shaped end 16 to act on the catch, and to which access can be had only after tearing the eal in the recess 18 in the front of the casing.
