Man-hole doors and frames.-The cover of an electric junction or terminal box for underground telephone systems is made with a groove f to correspond with a similar groove in the lower half, the two grooves forming, when the cover is in position, a channel which can be filled through the holes g with " Bergmann " or similar waterproof cement ; a screw plug h is also provided so that the box can be connected to a pressure or vacuum pump for joint-testing purposes. The cover is held on by a single screw k, carried on a pivoted yoke i.
