Tea, coffee, &c. making apparatus.-In apparatus for making tea, coffee, or other steeped, percolated, or boiled beverages, the container 6, Fig. 2, is raised by rotating the knob 1, which carries a pulley or bar 2 upon which chains &c. 3 passing through eyes 4 are wound. The knob is held by a pin 7. In another form, the container is raised by rotating the lid, the chains 3 passing through holes or slots 16, Fig. 8, in the rim 17 and resting in slots 19 in the lid or rim, or one chain only may be used, passing through a pivoted eye upon the lid. The lid may be conical &c., and the lid of the container 6 may have recesses passing over lugs and be secured by turning it. -
