Abstract

372. Roeder, W. Jan. 5. Motor road vehicles.-A two-wheeled side frame is attached to a motor-bicycle by transverse bara supporting a suitable seat, and the fore wheel of the side car is connected to the bicycle steering- wheel so that both wheels swivel during turning. Fig. 3 shows the arrangement in plan. The rear part of the wheeled attachment is connected in the usual manner to the axle and the saddle support of the motor-bicycle. In addition, the steering - heads are connected by a transverse member a, upon which the fore part of the seat f is secured. The steering-rods are provided with small levers b connected by a bar so as to ensure equal movement of the two steering-wheels.
