Cements.-A mastic, especially suitable for insertion between the joints of floors, consists of a mixture of 75 to 85 parts of rye-flour paste together with 25 to 15 parts of a mixture of sawdust and finely-ground cork. A suitable disinfectant may be added. The mixture is kept cold in order that the elasticity of the sawdust and cork may not be destroyed.
