In the double collar shown in Fig. 2, one extra tab B is used, the ordinary tab A' covering the head of the stud. In single collars, such as that shown in Fig. 5, two additional button-holed tabs B are provided. The free ends of the collar come close together. The invention is not limited to the types of collar shown, and, if desired, more than two additional tabs may be used. Where collars are combined with shirts, the tabs B may form part of the collarband of the shirt.
