Ornamenting. - Ornaments such as strings of ' pearls' p are attached to lamp globes or other articles of glass by being placed in grooves r, shown in cross-section in Fig. 1, formed in the glass, further attachment being obtained by means of the wire d, which is passed through small holes in the glass. The groove for holding the ornaments may be formed round a bulging part w, Fig. 6, and other ornaments such as the star s may be attached by a wire. Holes or slits may be provided in the grooves r so that the light will fall directly upon the ornament.
