Abstract
11,080. Goebel, A., and Schmidt, C. W. May 27. Angle-pieces-and junction pieces.-Multiple-way pipe-joints, especially applicable to a central heating- apparatus, are shown in longitudinal section in Figs. 1 and 3. Between the inlet a and the outlet b are -one or more bends b<1>, b<2>, so constructed that when the currents of fluid meet each other they have already the same direction. Perforations o allow of the escape of air. These joints are small and avoid contraction in the passage. The conducting-pipes are connected by screw threads, flanges, &c.
