Abstract

392. Hunter, F. A. Jan. 9. Regulating. - The current passing through an incandescent lamp is controlled by means of resistances, preferably other incandescent lamps, connected in series with the lamp. The resistance lamps D may be placed within a casing, containing the switches E on an insulating-block B, means for cooling by ventilation or otherwise being provided. Reference is made to Specification No. 1193, A.D. 1886.
