Abstract
25,708. Kamm, L. Nov. 25. Incandescent lamps.-Portable projecting. lamps for use with Nernst or other filaments are provided with caps for protecting and enclosing the filaments. As the filament is usually wider than the resistance and its non-conducting base, the cap j is mounted upon a member g, which either screws on to the base a, as shown, or into the slotted tube d, the base being then secured by screws to the member g. According to the Provisional Specification, the caps may slide upon the tubes enclosing the resistances.
