Draught - excluders. -A draught - excluder for doors, shown in back elevation in Fig. 4, and in section in Fig. 5, consists of a board b guided vertically by pieces c moving in recesses in the outside moulding a or the board b, and normally held up by one or more springs d connected to a bar i. The end of the bar i remote from the hinged side is bent, as shown in Fig. 6, and engages an adjustable stop j on the door frame as the door closes, thereby turning the levers g and depressing the board b. Fig. 7 shows a modification of the stop and bar @ for use with an excluder fitted inside the door. The levers g are reversed for doors hinged on the opposite side.
