Hands, artificial. - A clutch for attaching utensils to the palm of an artificial hand comprises a box portion F fixed in the palm of the hand, and provided with a wide flange at the top, and a grooved portion E fitting in this box. The utensil is provided with a hook A having two pins I, and a flange. The hook is fitted inside the piece E which is fitted into the box F, while the utensil is bent at right - angles to the piece E. The hook bears against the flange, when the utensil is finally pushed upright, and holds the utensil in place. A vertical spring in the side of the piece E holds it in the box F.
