Abstract
4966. Wright, E. S. Feb. 29. Signal lamps.- In a band signal lamp burning mineral oil, of the type described in Specification No. 12,098, A.D. 1903, the wash of the oil is prevented from extinguishing the light by forming the reservoir with a series of concentric vertical partitions A having openings B at the top and the bottom. The wick-tube is surrounded by a fine wire gauze sleeve C to prevent the oil from splashing against the wick and wick-tube.
