Abstract

4457. Sales, F. de, and Seymour, H. J. Feb. 23. Corsets.-To facilitate replacement, one or both busks are made, like a parallel rule, of two strips A, B, united by pivoted links C so that the two strips can be turned to cause one to lie on the other and thereby allow their introduction into or withdrawal from the corset sheath. G is a permanent stop for the links, and F is a movable one attached to a plate spring E projecting beyond the strip A so as to facilitate manipulation. Slits or holes are made in the sheath for the insertion of cords or the like to fasten the busks in the sheaths.
