Abstract

3244. Ducretet, E. Feb. 9. Telegraphs; telephone systems.-An induction transformer for wireless telegraphy or telephony has a single primary coil and two secondary coils. In the example shown, the primary coil b is placed between the antennae e and a condenser i connected to earth. Arranged near the coil b are two or more secondary coils c, d, preferably wound in parallel and connected to a coherer or the like h arranged in circuit with a telegraphic relay receiver of ordinary construction. Each secondary coil has a free extremity, and the three coils b, c, d may be wound on one carrier. The coils b, c, d may be flat spirals, the coils c, d being, if desired, wound in parallel on the same insulating-disc. Suitable devices may be provided to permit the number of turns of the coils in action to be adjusted.
