Abstract
4324. Lange, A. R., and Eichapfel, r. W. B. Feb. 24. Cameras; roller slides.-Relates to a pocket camera adapted for use with both films and plates. Fig. 1 shows the camera when used with films. The inner casing d of the roller slide is made to fit over the back frame a, to which the bellows b is connected, so that the film i lies in the focal plane. The spools of the roller slide are contained in the lateral receptacles f, g, and the film passes over guide-rollers k, l. Fig. 4 shows the camera when used with a double dark slide containing plates p. The frame n is placed against the end of the back frame a, where it is held by spring catches r, the dimensions of the dark slide being such that the face of the front plate lies in the focal plane. The camera is folded up by bending the front t forward at the spring joint v, pushing back the slide on the hinged baseboard c, and closing the baseboard into the position shown in Fig. 5.
