1581. Baynes, F. W. Jan. 21. Games imitating cricket.-Relates to a table game imitating cricket. A wicket supported on a base is defended by a player who uses a miniature bat. The bowling is effected by an appliance shown in Fig. 3, the ball G being projected by striking the tail end T of a pivoted angle-piece. A number of semi-conical frames, of the form shown in Fig. 5, are arranged on the table, and are marked to indicate runs or "out." The frames may be made of netting, cardboard, &c.
