Moulding bricks, tiles, artificial stone, &c.-The end lining plates i are formed with recesses o, p to receive projections m, n of the side lining plates h, so that any lining plate can be turned upside down, or be reversed from back to front, as it becomes worn. The plates are made rather more than double the depth of a brick, and are clamped by bolts and nuts between rabbeted side and end blocks c, d, a, b, forming a mould frame which is secured to the table of the machine by bolts or the like. In a modification, one end a and the two sides c, d of the frame are cast in one piece.
